Gubernia Palace

Gubernia Palace

At the Stanisława Sitkowskiego Street, among the trees of a one-hectare park, there is a suburban palace called "Gubernia", built by the Potocki family at the end of the 18th century next to the former farm, and rebuilt in 1870 in eclectic style by the Szlubowski family.

After Bronisław Szlubowski gave the palace-park complex to the National Treasury (1920), "Gubernia" became the seat of Radzyń's last owners. An element that highlights the "knightly origin" of the building is its quadrate tower adjacent to the eastern facade.
